Delegations – Have Your Say

Residents, organizations, or businesses wishing to speak to Foam Lake Town Council may register as a delegation.
Delegations provide an opportunity to present information, make requests, or express concerns directly to Council during a regular meeting.


🗓️ How to Register as a Delegation

To appear before Council:

  1. Complete the Delegation Request Form (available below).

  2. Submit it, along with any supporting documents, to the Town Office by Thursday at 12:00 noon before the Council meeting.

  3. Presentations are limited to 15 minutes per topic unless extended by unanimous Council resolution.

🧾 Rules of Conduct

To ensure meetings run smoothly and respectfully, please note:

  • Delegations must register at least 96 hours (4 days) before the meeting.

  • If representing a group, please appoint one spokesperson.

  • Any written submissions become part of the public record.

  • All remarks are directed to the Chairperson, and language must remain respectful at all times.

  • Presentations must not exceed 15 minutes unless otherwise approved.

  • Council will provide a written response after the meeting outlining any actions taken.
