Water, Sewer, and Recycling fees are billed quarterly; March, June, September, and December. Minimum billings for 2025 are $233.20 which is based on usage of up to 5,000 gallons. Usage over 5,000 gallons is $19.30 per 1,000 gallons. Base rates are as follows:
- Water – $92.85
- Sewer- $61.90
- WP Flat Rate- $56.30
- Recycle fees – $22.15
The philosophy is straight-forward: the more you use, the more you pay.
The Town of Foam Lake does not actively monitor your individual daily water consumption.
If you notice your consumption is unusually high, you may have a leak. Please check all taps, toilets, and water valves in your home, and make note of your meter reading last thing at night and first thing in the morning. If there was usage during the night, you may have a leak and you may want to call a plumber. The Town of Foam Lake is only responsible for malfunctions or damages to the individual water meters, and not for any other plumbing in a private residents or business that may require attention.
