Municipal Governance 101 is a series of free virtual sessions designed for potential municipal election candidates and those that want to learn more or refresh their knowledge of municipal governance. Municipalities of Saskatchewan, the association that represents Saskatchewan’s hometowns, including the Town of Foam Lake, is offering free virtual sessions to residents interested in learning more about being on municipal council. In the first session, learn about the role of council, what your responsibilities are as a councillor, and more. The second session is a virtual town hall where questions were posed to a panel of individuals experienced in municipal governance.
