Your Town Leaders

The Foam Lake Town Council consists of a Mayor and six Councillors, who represent the entire community—Foam Lake does not operate under a ward system.

Council’s Role & Responsibilities

Town Council is responsible for setting strategic priorities, shaping policies, and ensuring the well-being of the community. Their authority is outlined in The Municipalities Act of Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Represent the best interests of Foam Lake and its residents.
✅ Develop and evaluate municipal policies, programs, and services.
✅ Participate in Council and committee meetings.
✅ Stay informed on municipal operations and administration.
✅ Maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters until discussed publicly.
✅ Carry out all duties assigned under The Municipalities Act and by the Council.
