Community Cultural Centre

The Community Cultural Centre is the old town office building located at 402 Cameron Street, Foam Lake. The building houses the Foam Lake Library, the Foam Lake Food Bank and was designated by Council as an Arts, Culture and Recreation Center after a community consultation survey, which indicated the citizen’s desire for more leisure programming space.

402 Cameron Street found it’s name after the Town of Foam Lake held a naming contest in Spring 2022. The winning name was submitted by Shelley Thoen-Chaykoski. The Community Cultural Centre name was submitted along with this comment:

“This ties the historic usage of this title with the old Bray School back in the 1970’s when it was transformed into the CCC and housed music, dance, meeting spaces, youth groups, service clubs, and workshops that predominantly related to the cultural fabric of our community.”

Thank you to all who submitted name suggestions and for voting for your favourite name.
