The municipal mill rate has increased from 7.55 to 7.70.

The Education mill rates, set by the Province of Saskatchewan, have decreased to:

6.37 for commercial properties

💡 Taxes are due by December 31, 2025.
Any unpaid balances as of January 1, 2026 will incur a 10% penalty, applied to both Municipal and Education taxes.

Municipal Tax Calculation
Municipal Taxes = Base Tax + (Taxable Assessment × (Municipal Mill Rate ÷ 1000)) × Mill Rate Factor
- If this amount is less than $1,206.85, a minimum tax of $1,206.85 applies.
Education (School) Tax Calculation
School Levy = Taxable Assessment × Education Mill Rate ÷ 1000

📌 The Province of Saskatchewan sets the Education Property Tax mill rates annually. The Town is legally required to collect and remit these taxes to the Province.
