Residential Garbage Pick-Up
May 12 @ 5:00 am

🗑️Place your garbage/recycling bin on the road, against the curb – this ensures the OSS driver can safely collect your waste without damaging your bin

📏Ensure your bins are at least 3 feet from any obstacle – this includes vehicles, fences, other bins, etc

♻️Do not overfill your bins, make sure you’re able to close the lid, or the OSS driver may not collect your waste

📅Have your bin out by 7am on collection day

Compost Pick-Up🌱

Starting May 5, the Town of Foam Lake will provide weekly compost pickup each Tuesday. Place your bag of compost out on the curb each Monday to be collected.

Ensure your compost is in a clear bag, there are no branches or sharp objects, and that the bag is 30lbs or less. Items that can be included are leaves, plants, and household compost.

Regular Council Meeting @ Town of Foam Lake Office
May 12 @ 6:00 pm

The public is welcome to attend regular Council meetings. Attendees are asked to remain quiet and respectful – no clapping, cheering, interruptions, or speaking unless invited by Council.

New agenda item:
If you wish to raise a topic not on the agenda as a delegate, submit your request to the Town Office by 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the meeting. You will have up to 15 minutes to present your concern or request.

Agenda item comments:
To speak on an item already on the agenda, you must pre-register with the Town Office by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Each speaker is limited to 15 minutes.

Once the meeting is adjourned, Council business is concluded and the office is closed. Council members are not available to meet with spectators after the meeting.

Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) @ Foam Lake Legion Hall

Alcoholics Anonymous is for individuals who have a drinking problem and a desire to stop drinking. Meetings are held every Wednesday and are closed to the public, open only to AA members. For those who are curious about the program but unsure if it’s right for them, an open meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month.

All meetings are 100% anonymous – anything shared here stays here.

Swing by the Foam Lake Bowling Centre every Thursday for beer league bowling! Everyone’s welcome to drop in and enjoy a fun night on the lanes. The beer league season runs until June – so lace up those shoes and start throwing strikes!

Foam Lake, our community needs you! If you’re able to, stop by the Foam Lake Co-op on May 15th from 2-6pm to help fill the firetruck with donations for the Foam Lake Food Bank!
