The Town of Foam Lake invites applications for a summer student position with the Public Works department with a tentative start date of July 3, 2019.
Applicants must have a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and knowledge of equipment operations.
Dutes and Responsibilities include:
-Garbage collection and disposal
-Maintenance of grounds on town owned property including cutting grass, weeding and pruning trees
-Other duties assigned.
-Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s license
-Previous experience operating motorized mechanical equipment including tractors, mowers and trucks is an asset
-Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labour, ability to work well with others in a team environment and to conduct business in professional manner
-Ability to complete tasks in a safe and effective manner, ability to accept, comprehend and carryout verbal and written instructions.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Must be attending school now and returning to school in the fall to be eligible for consideration.
-Will be trained on safety and the operation of equipment
-Safety footwear required
-Supervision will be under the guidance of Town Staff
